Ecumenical news and dates for your diary

Putnoe Heights Church has a strong ecumenical history and our members come from a variety of church backgrounds. There are lots of opportunities to join with other churches in North Bedford and across the town for fellowship, worship, learning and reflection. This page highlights some of those opportunities and provides local ecumenical news.

Putnoe Heights is part of North Bedford Churches Together (NBCT)
Dwell Well Support - Bedford - news from one of our North Bedford Churches Together partners

Aims of the project:
  • To support those in the local area that are being temporarily / permanently housed.
  • To coordinate donations of everyday kitchen / bedroom items for new starter tenancy packs for those in need.
  • To coordinate donations from local shops, supermarkets, other local churches, residents, members of the public and other local organisations in order for us to be able to make up new starter packs.
  • The packs will include (but are not limited to) pots, pans, cutlery, plates & bowls, bed sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases.
  • Liaising with connected agencies whom refer clients with regards to getting these packs to those in need at the right time.

Donations can be made by placing any of the above items in the donation bins outside St Mary's Church Hall.

Follow the project's Facebook page for more information, including updates about which items are currently most needed.
